Thanks for the review.

Once the "noise redution bug" in the Sammy gets fixed I'll be curious to see if this and other BD titles look any better.

I don't think Memento should have heavy grain. Nolan hates it (he went as far as shoot the opening sequence with a reverse magazine because optically reversing would increase grain).

Juan I wouldn't call the grain heavy, but there is more than the usual film plus all of the grain that seems intended. Mike

I found "Memento" on BD from Alliance.   I am curious as to this version.  Has anyone viewed the Alliance BD?   Is the video encode the same as the Sony version reviewed here, or is it different?
