I just noticed that the lighted plug on surge protector is flickering. I looked in the owners manual and it doesn't mention anything. I did a search on here and couldn't find any info. It is the Monster 5000 MKII(?)..I think. Can this thing be reset? Is it toast?

Could be just a flaky connection going to the LED or maybe something else. Give Monster a call and see what they say. You might be covered under their warranty.

Very often the "fireflies" in plug-ends are (a) neon, and (b) incredibly cheap. They'll flicker for what seems like forever before they (the neon) stops working entirely. The neon itself has no impact on the operation of the unit itself.
