Sony announces four new Blu-ray Disc titles
June 05, 2006

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment today announced a quartet of Blu-ray Disc titles scheduled for release on August 15. The list is headlined by "Black Hawk Down" and "Memento," two TMR favorites that should shine on the format. Also coming are "Sense and Sensibility" and "The Big Hit." You know it wouldn't be long before Lou Diamond Phillips made his high-def disc debut.

No pricing, additional features or cover art are currently available, but should be soon. Stay tuned.

Cool.

Has there been any info clarifying if "Black Hawk Down" will be on BD50? This was a title they had said would use dual layer, correct?

I suppose it doesn't really need it, but it would be nice to see BD50 so early.
