With the Miss Marple Collection issued, Agatha Christie has been well represented on DVD. But.....i was wondering if anyone has heard any rumblings for the release of APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH....good cast...lots of fun...and i would enjoy adding to the every growning DVD library. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wasn't this a Cannon film? I would expect MGM/Sony has it, so don't hold your breath.

I burned my own DVD from the laserdisc because I figured it'd never see the light of day here.

Matt,
i have been thinking about doing the same but i think the LD is poorly pan and scaned and the movie suffers for it. It would be nice if we could have it in OAR.

The new R2 disc (same all over Europe) from MGM/Sony has a very nice anamorphic transfer. Squeezed onto a DVD-5 without extras, but picture and sound are surprisingly good. Hopefully this gets a R1 release soon!
