The first blu player will be delayed until June 25th due to compatability issues with the software. I read on some places that this is no big deal and on others they say there is a major problem with the software running smoothly. Oh well, one month is no big deal for you blu ray guys.

I've been kinda expecting this since the PS3 delay announcement which cited Blu-Ray as the reason.

are you talking about the delay on the Samsung player?

They publically stated that they were delaying to ensure compatibility so they could test with some actual production Blu-ray discs (makes sense to me!) and also add 1080P output and a few more features...

David, you are correct. The upgrade to 1080p output is the big one (no price increase either!)

The fact that there's no games or even finalized devkits probably played a role in that, too.
