From what I can tell, these are the features that are actually new to this edition:

Quote:
Spanish Mono
French subtitles
Commentary by director Richard Donner & writer/director Brian Helgeland
Introduction to the special edition of Omen by director Richard Donner
The Omen Legacy
Deleted Scene - Dog Attack with commentary by director Richard Donner and & writer/director Brian Helgeland
David Seltzer on Writing the Omen
An Appreciation: Wes Craven on THE OMEN

Kinda weird, it looks like they've added French subtitles to accompany the French language track, but they've dropped the Spanish subtitles despite adding Spanish audio. (I don't see English subtitles listed either, so maybe they omitted something.)

And what does Brian Helgeland have to do with the film?

Looks good to me. I don't have the original disc so I'll probably get this.

I'm surprised that they didn't go with June 6th as the release date.....you just can't buy publicity like that.Posted Image

As for me, I already have the boxset from several years back.....it's good enough for me. Posted Image
