Amazon.com is offering a free 4 month trial to it's Prime upgraded shipping service. I signed up for mine a few days ago and it's working fine. You get FREE regular and Two-Day shipping. Next Day shipping is only $3.99. No cost to you if you cancel before the trial period is up. Here's some info I sniped from DVD Talk:

I was just going through the checkout and I was offered a free four month trial to Amazon Prime.

You will need to add an item to your cart, then select either One-Day or Two-Day shipping. The offer will show up under Shipping Options.

Here's also the direct link:

I was just passing on the information I found at DVD Talk regarding the steps necessary to kick in the offer. I have no way of testing it without creating a new (and bogus) account on Amazon.com.

I got offered this in January.
Mine runs out in April.
I even got free shipping when my total was less than $25

Shazbot! I tried it today and all I got was a pop-up asking if I wanted to pay the $79 for the full offer. No trial. Bleah.
