They should have added DTS and a new image transfer to make it SUPER COOL.

I only saw like 2 things that my version doesn't have. I don't know if you were comparing this edition to the one disc edition???

What, if anything, is missing from the previous, packed, 2-disc set?

The Ice Age 2 Sneak Peak AND... Extreme Cool View - I'm not sure if I remember this on mine. The rest I know I have.

Is the film quality the same as the previous version?
Luckily, right at that moment, an unconscious Argentinean fell through my roof.

He was quickly joined by a dwarf dressed as a nun.

I missed out on the two disc version the first time around, so I'm glad for this re-release. It's also nice that they're going old school with this release. No one disc/two disc to choose between. No widescreen/full-screen to choose between. And they've managed to do it for a reasonable price! I wish all the studios would return to this model.

Bought the first release, kid's scratched it, bought the single disc to replace the movie. Not buying this one as disc 2 from my set is still fine.
