Yes, I wondered where to post this but since we are dealing with older stars and their films I thought this would get more response. Mark - you beat me on Sean Connery - my memory is starting to slow down!

Elizabeth Taylor (although just turned 74, not quite 75) is one of the most iconic stars of all time and is still with us.

Yes.....there's not too many left from the Golden Era.

Wouldn't you think that Robert Osborne at TCM or the Academy would travel to these remaining stars and get their rememberances down on film?

Wouldn't you think that interviews should be done for future DVD projects?

When I think of the actors who have passed away in the last few years, it sickens me that more of an attempt to record their thoughts on their careers as well as specific films were not done.

I can't image that many of them wouldn't take the time, depending on their health and memory.

Bob Barker, 82

Okay, he's not a movie star (although he does have a very small part as himself in 1996's Happy Gilmore) but he is a major television star and the host of the most popular game show of all time. Season 34 of The Price Is Right will wrap up in late May with the 35th year starting in September.

Uh, OK. But that would mean that she was only 15 when she starred in How Green Was My Valley (1941). 15? I don't THINK so.

O'Hara is 85. James Earl Jones just turned 75.

Widmark and Day have been mooted for honorary Oscars for years now, but it never seems to happen.

Fanning need not worry. In Hollywood, 12 is the new 9. Posted Image

BarryM, I coldn't agree more with you. Mr. Osborne, it's time to do homework!. I guess it is rude to approach these personalities in this fashion but I'm sure they would be flattered by it. And their reminiscenses would be priceless.
Fasten your seatbelts!
