Well, I've long believed that the availability of high-def images at the component-video output would be determined on a title-by-title basis. With catalog titles, why downrez?

it would be a major boon to a competeing format if they widely chose not to constrain the output for a signifacant % of their available titles, and the other format did.

it seems like it would be Warners choice to put a stake in the heart of HD DVD at this point.
