The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

The X-Files thing is tempting, but I never really watched it and I don't know that I want to blind buy three sets. I guess I could watch the first one and sell the other two as brand new if I didn't like it. But, that's probably $75 I'd rather just leave on my BB gift cards to use for other upcoming releases.

I see a stop at Best Buy on Tuesday. I'm getting Corpse Bride (a blind buy for me, but I love Tim Burton and my wife and daughter did see it and liked it) and seasons 2 and three of X-Files (already own season 1). The Zorro deal is also tempting, but that would be a blind buy and I'm hesitant based on reviews for the second film. Any recommendations?

Thanks, as always, Mike and Patrick. Nothing this week, though I'll probably pick up Corpse Bride down the road as part of a 2/$20 or 2/$15 sale.

Julio, the critics were way too harsh on Legend of Zorro. I think that if you liked the original you'll really like the sequel. It'd be a good blind buy. Everyone I know that saw it enjoyed it too.

Thanks, Mike and Patrick!

I am not quite sure what to make of this week. I am leaning towards Hill Street Blues, but would like to read a review or two, first.

Although I was a HUGE X-Files fan at the time, I never bothered with any incarnation of the DVDs, so the new re-priced sets are attractive. Still, when all is said and done, I was so let let down by the resolution to the conspiracy mythos, that I don't see myself buying the whole series anyway. Still, it was a fun journey for the first several years, so I may take the plunge.

Finally, what's up with the Pink Panther films? I have not been following this and did a quick forum search that came up empty. So, pardon me if this has been explained elsewhere, but are these new individual releases the same discs that were included in the Pink Panther Collection from a year or two ago?

I'm Really tempted by the X files Deal, but I bought the Mythology Sets so I cannot Deal with owning things twice. I'm hoping they'll put out a Greatest Monster set and put on some of the Better MOTW eps. There were alot of Dud Eps in the later runs and I think I'd be happy with it this way. But $24 a season is tempting. Also tempting is the Pink Panther Cartoon set for $39 at Target, but the more and more I ready convinces me we are'nt getting the Other cartoons with this, no Ant and the Ardvark ? I might just pass. Hill St. Blues and Archie Bunker perhaps for me this week.

Thanks the for the round up Mike and the ever in limbo Dave. I might pick up the Zorro movie and Corpse Bride, but it depends what I find in the stores that might make me change my mind.
