How do I connect my Polaroid PDV-0820 DVD player to my Sony A/V Receiver? It says Optical out on the player but has a RCA type connector. Is there an accessory or adapter to make this compatible with the Optical connector on the receiver?

Any help appreciated. Not really a necessity but would like to know.

From the description at Amazon.com, there is no optical output. There is coax output.
Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio output (through a .125-inch minijack-to-RCA coaxial cable, not supplied) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver.
If you only have optical inputs on your recever, then you need a coax to optical converter. Those are available from PE for under $20.
