I'm back this yr. with the same:

1.Against All Flags
2.Belarus File, The (Telly Savalas as Kojak)
3.Black Shield of Falworth

In addition to the above, it appears Universal holds the rights to several unreleased Kojak films, so I'm inserting them into this request.

My biggest request is that Universal would correct their DVD-18 debacle (which was fine in theory, but lousy in execution), and institute a proper replacement program for those with faulty discs.

Definately FLOWER DRUM SONG, this is long overdue. One would think with the reissue of special editions from Fox of all the R&H musicals, Universal would step up and see the marketing opportunity, which was already lost once when the Broadway revival played. I would also like to see (please please) ROSIE, with Ros Russell, Audrey Meadows and Leslie Neilson. This was a late 60's drama that was Ros at her very best, and one great movie...sadly this has never been released on home video, and never on cable either. I've been wanting this for years!

I also think it's time Universal released PIRATES OF PENZANCE, 1983. What a great musical, but the laserdisc was pan and scan and this movie must have the 2:35:1 format. A guilty pleasure would be a special edition (remastered please) of Xanadu! There's a pretty big cult following for it. Another extreme pleasure would be a new edition of Somewhere in Time. When the 2nd version was announced, it was advertised (including on Universal's web site) as a new 5.1 stereo track......it came out again as mono. This is one of the most beloved musical scores, so I can't figure out why Universal hasn't at least transferred the music in stereo.

I have the Earthquake sensurround version from another region, it's a fantastic transfer, why is the USA the only place it has not been issued? Also wouldn't mind seeing TARANTULA and some of the 50's sci-fi movies. Sadly, it seems 7 versions of American Pie are more important to this studio than their catalog. C'mon Universal, more classic movies.

wouldn't it be tough to issue EARTHQUAKE in 16:9 and add the tv footage, which I understand was shot for tv, in 4:3.
