I have three days at home alone. My wifes days off are a week after mine and I am sending my kids to winter day camp, so, I am looking for a few good movie recomendations. I want something that I normally couldn't enjoy with everybody at home. Something that will give my speakers a workout. I missed 'Serenity', so I think that will be on my list and Batman Begins. So, what else can you people suggest?

I am not sure, but don't.... suggest.... that.... forbidden.... movie.... with..... (shhhhhh) jedi
I don't want this deleted.

Wow, a fellow Lake Worthian (I'm in Lake Worth now since campus is closed, grew up here) - Hmmmm, speaker workouts - Begins is a good start. Cinderella Man's boxing scenes are pretty brutal when cranked loud, so I can recommend it (good movie, too). Uhhh....Do you want older stuff? There's tons of stuff on sale this week at circuit city and Best Buy, I'd suggest hitting up the flyers and picking out 5-10 of the cheapy movies as there are some decent flicks in there.

Hope you enjoy your free time.

Daniel,
you might want to try that little movie about that guy with the glowing sword who starts out good but then get's totally snowed by this old dude and turns evil and is forced to wear a black mask.

I forget the name of it, though. :D

If the wife and kids are away, a little porn is probably in order. :)
Back to the Future?
Serenity is a good suggestion too.

All nice posts guys. Especially about that Movie that must not be named, in Harry Potter terms.

I have a must watch for any man who has the wife and kids out of town. SIN CITY. I thought this movie was incredible, but in true Terintino fashion, much too rough for kids and most wives, especially due to a few scenes w/ nudity, and several other violent ones.

This one is something fresh, and is based on Frank Miller's Sin City Comics. Robert Rodriguez Directs along with Quentin Terintino.

A MUST WATCH on Dad's night out!
