I just found this cool little app that emulates the zoom/magnifier function that many people love on the Mac OSX desktop.

(The free version is awesome)

Stardock has many visual customisation programs. Windowblinds, WindowFX etc etc. Definitely fun stuff to play with to get your desktop to look more like what you want it to.

They also have a package deal called Object Desktop that includes pretty much everything they have. Fun stuff, definitely.

Here's a really cool screenshot of Windowblinds 5 and some other programs from the Object Desktop package.

Ugh! That thing makes me motion sick. I keep my zoom off.

Damn, how cool is this??? I recently played with a Mac for the first time in probably 15 years, and I was stunned to see how brilliant the desktop was. I'll definitely be trying this tonight when I get home....
