I have moved my Dish Network "super-dish" from my old house to my new house.
I have installed it on the south facing wall and found the angles to point the dish. I used a compass to find the azimuth direction, the others are marked on the dish.
I cannot get a signal at all. I did point it as far west as possible and got a small signal from the wrong satellite, that is what the receiver said, wrong satellite.
Now I get error 502, which says their is a problem with the swithch configuration. I did not disconnect the cables from the switch. Their aree 3 going in, and 2 coming out to the receiver. I have #1 connected to #1s input on the receiver, the same with #2. I have run a test and it says one cable must be connected incorrectly.
Dish said they cannot get a guy out here to look at it for over 2 weeks. What should I do?
