Is anyone else sick of hearing almost every product being made of "...a patended Space Age technology"? or "developed by NASA"?

Yes, I am. I am also sick of the phrase, at this point in time.
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

Their overuse has resulted in a lack of gravitas.

How about those annoying Junk Mail Magazines that proclaim:

"WARNING! This will be your last issue..."

I hate it when people say, "I feel..." when they really should be saying, "I think..."

I love that one! It always makes me laugh because 99.9% of the time it's the first issue I've ever received, and I have no interest in ever receiving another one! But, yes, threaten me! Please! That is definitely the way to get me to order something.

LOL - Yeah, it was originally: "Terminology that needs to STOP!", but I added the "Phrases and" and never fixed the rest.

I hate the phrase "For all intents and purposes."
Especially because most people say "For all intensive purposes." Posted Image

Time efficiencies, good times, solid, butter on toast, meathooked, SWEET (please go away, back to the 70's where you came from!!!), girlfriend, noob/newb/n00b/noobie/etc.

There are many more; this is sufficient for now. Posted Image

I'm sick of people saying "at the end of the day...."

But you know, at the end of the day I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
