I saw the director - a meek-looking man for all the violence and perversion he puts in his films! - and managed to get his autograph during a surreal Press Conference for THREE... EXTREMES (2004) at that year's Venice Film Festival; the three Asian film-makers, who couldn't understand one another's language, had to have their speeches translated for them...but my brother and I, who weren't supposed to be there in the first place, didn't even have the benefit of headphones which would have provided english translation of what was being said!! I didn't get to watch the film itself as it was always shown quite late at night, however, and I wasn't up for a demanding Asian horror compendium after a day's worth of film viewing already!!
