A pity that none of his films exist in the form he intended, though I'm sure he was an absolute nightmare for producers to work with.

1. Foolish Wives - B+
2. Queen Kelly - B (Has some charming sequences, but is very chopped up and Von Stroheim was fired off the film before it was finished make it difficult to fully evaluate.)

I've seen all but the last 30 minutes or so of Greed and would give it a B+ based on what I saw. One of these days I'll break down and get Tivo. Would love to see The Wedding March.
2002 Sight & Sound Challenge: 321  Last Watched: L'enfance Nue
Last 8 Films Watched: In the Loop - A- / It Might Get Loud - B+ / What Just Happened? - B / Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs - C- / Drums Along the Mohawk - A- / Punisher War Zone - B+ / Moon - C+ / A Man For All Seasons - B+
