Not to get this thread away from the topic, but I placed an order today for the competing Sony H1. I've been tossing around the idea of cameras for a long time, looking at options varying from a Nikon D50 to a Coolpix 5400.

I ended up deciding not to spend the money for a DSLR and lenses (yet) and wanted a zoom, which the 5400 lacked (despite it being a very cool cam).

It might be here Friday. Here's hoping!

Dude. What a unique shot!

The only gripe I have with my H1 so far is common vingetting. It seems as though it happens under certain conditions. One day I'll have no vingetting and other days two out of three pictures have noticable vingetting.

I picked up Photoshop Elements 3.0 and I'm sure the post processing will take care of any abnormalities in printable shots.
