I like the Matrix sequels more now than I did when I first saw them 2 years ago, I remember being disappointed with Revolutions at first viewing, thinking thats it? This entire saga all boils down to Neo and Agent Smith beating the crap out of each other for 20 minutes? But after perusing the contents of the superb Matrix box set and several dvd viewings later I appreciate the trilogy a whole lot more now, the first Matrix in particular is an all time favorite of mine.Posted Image

ANDY & LARRY WACHOWSKI Seen: 1 Like: 0 Own: 0 Rank order: The Matrix (1999) The Matrix was a major disappointment, and could have been a much, much better film. I've never felt any desire to check out the sequels.

Out of 4 stars:

The Matrix: Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image 1/2

The Matrix Reloaded: Posted Image Posted Image

I was so disappointed in the sequel that I passed up Revolutions when I saw it for 5 bucks used. I may eventually cave, because I'm a bit of a neurotic...I mean completist when it comes to such matters.

I don't care for modern films. All crashing cars and close-ups of people's feet.

Bound (1996) The Matrix (1999) The Matrix Revolutions (2003) The Matrix Reloaded (2003) Saw the above, #1 and 2 listed in order of preference. Frankly "Revolutions" and "Reloaded" are a jumbled mess in my mind and I couldn't say.

Probably about as good a movie as you could make given the source material, actually.
