I live downtown, but unfortunately, I don't have access to CableModems or DSL, so I am thinking about using Direct TV. I have seen High Speed Internet Access promotions, but it appears complicated and I am not sure how well it works. I also would like to use a IPsec Client to access my companies VPN. Does anyone have experience with this? How well does it work? Has any one used a VPN over Satellite? Geoffry

I have read it somewhere but I don't remember where that there are problems using VPN over satellite. It may have been something about the latency. Try posting this question over in the General area at www.dbsforums.com since that forum deals strictly with satellites.
