Mercury is pretty good. Its a lot like Marble Madness for the NES...ever play that?

Im enjoying Mercury and Lumines together...I can switch one out when the other one gets stale. Keeps em nice and fresh.

Pretty fun too.

Tiger Woods and Ridge Racer. Enjoying Ridge Racer quite a bit, however, Tiger is harder for me to control than the console versions. The analog nub is very sensitive!

Still fighting the urge on this thing. But among the launch titles Wipeout looks pretty slick. I'm surprised I haven't seen more about this and Need For Speed.

I have Wipeout Pure, Tiger Woods, and Lumines.

Lumines is fun, but I havent spent much time on it.
Tiger Woods is very addictive. I am getting pretty good and play about 1hr per day on average. You get used to the load times, and the pay off is huge when you get going...A very deep game, with lots of hours of gameplay.
Wipeout Pure is fantastic. I need to put TW down and play some more. I have progressed pretty well in my limited time to play.

I have Lumines, Ridge Racer, Wipeout Pure and Mercury.

Love them all, Lumines and Mercury are my favorites.

Wipeout is fun b/c I can use it as a web browser (there's a hidden trick, well not really hidden, basically you have to play around with DNS servers and the like to trick the game).

RR was my first game and I played the hell out of it, it's easily one of my favorite racing games of all time. Drifitng is a ton of fun and it's not too complicated.

I have:

Wipeout Pure - mostly got this game to exploit the online capability and surf the web via the PSP

NFL Street Unleashed - very fun game, but the nub is tough to control at times.

Tiger Woods - same gripe as everyone else, the nub makes it hard to hit a straight shot consistently. Haven't played this one in a while. Long load times!

Ridge Racer - great graphics, but haven't played much due to NFL Street.

NFSU2 - okay game. It's kind of hard and you can't really afford to screw up if you want to win the race... makes it really frustrating.

I got Ridge Racer and WipeOut the day before launch. I haven't really played much Wipeout yet although it's nice. I am completely addicted to Ridge Racer. I have had ebvery version on Ridge Racer available for Sony consoles and this is the best one ever. Easily justifed my purchase.

I only have lumines, but i've rented wipeout, ridgeracer, and mercury..

Really liked both wipeout and ridgeracer to the point to where i couldn't decide which one to buy (still haven't)

Mercury was ok, but i would consider it a rental. It just doesn't seem to have a lot of replay value when compared to lumines.

Anyone play NBA Street? I picked it up today. Before I open it up, I would like some impressions...

The other day I picked up NBA Street Showdown & Twisted Metal.

I'm loving NBA Street. It looks great & is so much fun.
I think it's an excellent sports portable game.

And I got twisted metal, for the sole purpose of multiple player action. A bunch of us at the casino I work at has PSP's and we decided to have a PSP get togther every Tuesday. Twisted Metal is just perfect for 6 player action

I have Lumines and Wipeout. I've only played Wipeout for about 15 minutes. Then got really into/frustrated with Lumines. Which is the current state of affairs.

So when do we get a FPS? :D

Martin.

I wonder, exactly, how you would control a FPS? The nub would control your charcter, I assume.... but how would you aim?
