OK.

I know this topic has been done to death. And I have done an extensive search on the forums for other threads...but none really answer my question completely.

I recently purchased a 42" edtv panasonic plasma.

My lady insists that the speakers I get for them look nice and are small. Wall-mountable. And they should match the matte black of the plasma tv. We want to mount them on the walls and have the wires hidden behind the walls of course. Posted Image

I would love at least a 5.1 setup. We need to get a receiver for it too. The budget is anything under $1500 or so. If it is kickass and a little over, we can swing it. I'm loooking for the entire speaker/receiver package.

Any suggestions? And any good vendors to get them from?

Thank you so much for your help!

Jamo is good stuff. If you like them, go for it!

Receiver-wise, lots of choices. $400 gets you the Pioneer 1014 which is really popular here (GREAT value). That would also give you $1100 for speakers!
