Too many times I get inquiries from people about what kind of music do/can I play. Whether I am about to audition for a band who needs a guitarist and they want to hear a small sample of my catalog, or someone at work or various other places that just found out that I play and want to hear me (it isn't practical to lug a guitar and amp to work--and I can find no entry in the employee handbook that states it's acceptable) do a song or two, I invariably find myself wanting a high grade sample of my work to just put in their hands and save me all kinds of headaches. So I decided I'm making a cover album.

I already have a few of the tracks recorded and I am working on mixing & mastering those while I record the rest. I have this idea that I will go all out (I do this way too much) and create a CD insert in Photoshop with graphic and song list, etc. I want it to look as professional as possible.

All I need is a title for the album.

Here are the tracks (In order):

Lenny - SRV
Midnight Express - Nuno Bettencourt
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix
La Grange - ZZ Top
Mary Had A Little Lamb - SRV
Statesboro Blues - Alman Brothers
Back in Black - AC/DC
Panama - Van Halen
Unchained - Van Halen
Voodoo Chile - Jimi Hendrix
Machine Gun - Band of Gypsys

The only acceptable title I have been able to come up with so far is:

Everyone's Shit But Mine

Any other suggestions?

I always thought that the best name for a debut album would be (using you as an example):

Chris Knox's Greatest Hits, Volume 2 :)

Chris, I really like the title you came up with. Although somewhat profane, it's the most original compilation album I've ever heard of.

Songs from the dead, done and declining :)

I do like the tunes BTW, just having fun at their expense.

I'm just impressed you can play SRV - and willing to put it on a cd. How about "Knox, Out of the box".
