The bootleg releases of the show will become history if Fox releases Peyton Place. That fact alone makes me very happy. Here are some promos for the show. The first is from the Shout episodes. The quality of the film shows that Peyton Place can be released as is.The other 3 promos are rare with the last being a promo for the first movie after the series went off the air.The last is a very rare spoof of the show.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzBqaJNYtmIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j0vSxL4BSQhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_58k-q-CSQQhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNGZrc6j0B4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SkZ23dL2kk

Good news for fans of the series, someone has posted the very final episode of the series on YouTube. A very unsatisfactory ending to Peyton Place with viewers left wondering the fate of Dr. Rossi.

I watched Peyton Place growing up in the 60s.  I also watched most if not all of the series Mr. William Self speaks of in these great interviews which he gave.

Here are the rest of these great interviews starting with the third interview where Mr. Self talks about the FOX/ABC TV series.

In a survey nearly half thought Peyton Place was in New Hampshire. If anyone here would like to guess, what state would you opt for?

Yahoo answers goes for New Hampshire too.

I recall in a very early episode George Anderson made a long distance phone call to Peyton Place, Massachusetts.

I think it's supposed to be Massachusetts, and there ARE many little towns that look just like that there. But, it's "based" partly on Gilmanton, NH (where Grace Metalious lived), so I can see where some people would believe that. Does anyone know where the opening credits and some of the series' exteriors were shot?

Yes whenever a real life city is mentioned with character going to it for example, I remember Boston being that city. It could be that unofficially the book was set in New Hampshire but the tv series Massachusetts.

The book and film bear no resemblance to the series whatsoever! I found this bizarre..., Except for the names of the central characters Samuel Peyton in the film Martin in the series why ?? Norman Page became Rodney's brother?? Why ??
