hey all -

my buddy needs a name that he can trademark for his band. they play a mix of funk, latin, reggae, pop, ballad, neo-soul, etc.

any and all ideas are welcome!

thanks!

Elinor- Careful -- Monster cable is suing everyone using the name Monster in their products, so I'd err on the side of caution until they're fined or jailed for frivolous lawsuits.

How about...

The Tone Deafs?
The Tonies?
The Band of Various Music?
The Musical Variety?
Music on an Open Bridge?
The Mustrix?
The Spanish Flower Band?
The Livin' La Vida Loca Musical Guys?
The Balladeers?
The Varieteers?
Ears That Make Music?
The Musicalistic Fantastics?
The School of Rock!! :D

Sorry...in a weird mood today. :b

The Monsterously Monsterish Monsters (tell MC to put that in their crack pipe and smoke it).

Then title your album "For use with generic cables only" :D

Best band name ever--"Free Beer"

The marquee at the club would read "Tonight Only -- Free Beer!"

It'd be a sold out crowd every time. Well, at least the first night.

there was a really funny part of an upright citizens brigade show about a band who was trying to name themselves. one of them gets pissed and says "screw it, i'm breaking up the band" and then one of them says "that's our name, we'll call ourselves the break ups". each of them seems to have a different variation on it, they come up with the break ups, the breaking uppers, and others. the funny thing is, that they never actually get to play. at their concert at the end, they have an argument and break up before they play any instruments. that's what i have to say about band names :) the breaking uppers it is!
