Hi guys,

First of all this is not meant to disrespect in any way, shape or form the HTF Challenge that has been going on here for years.

As a matter of fact it can run parallell and I know I myself will be participating in the other.

This challenge is more to have something that will even out the playing field and can be fun whether your collection consists of 500 DVDs, 5 DVDs or 5000 DVDs.

Here it is:

Watch as many NEW movies on DVD as possible.

The goal is to discover as many new movies as possible, whether you buy or rent is up to you but the goal is add to the list of movies you've seen.

Rules are simple. It must be on DVD, legit, no bootleg. It cannot be a movie that is not out on DVD (say song of the south) that you bought on DVD from E-Bay.

Must be a movie you had never seen before.

Must be a movie, no TV shows.

I myself only own about 300 DVDs, so going through them is not as impressive to someone with 3000.

figures this way we all have at least a few thousands we have not seen.

let me know what you guys think and post your list here as of January 1st!
