Flags of our fathers. Based on the book about a son discovering his father was one of the men who raised the flag in the famous WW2 photograph. Should have some amazing battle sequences and large scale action. Havent read the book, so not sure, but Im rooting for Eastwood to pull it off wonderfully. Could be a slight departure for him, as he more recently seems focused on smaller scale intimate dramas, but i have no doubt it will capture the heart, and have wonderful performance driven moments of humanity. The anti-michael bay Perl Harbor WW2 movie perhaps? all substance and no spectacle? Im hoping for the best of both. we shall see come 2006...
Movies are like books, except you can't set your' drink on them, well.. unless its a DVD...oh nevermind
