As we're approaching the end of another year, I just thought I'd share my 12 most-wanted DVD titles for 2005. I've limited these to films that haven't yet appeared on DVD (not counting numerous inferior public-domain releases of One-Eyed Jacks), and I've listed them by owning studio.

Columbia

The Go-Between (Losey)

Fox

Julia (Zinneman)

MGM/UA

Thieves Like Us (Altman)

Paramount

Ace In The Hole (Wilder)
One-Eyed Jacks (Brando)
If... (Anderson)

Universal

Taking Off (Forman)

Warner

Fedora (Wilder)
Lust For Life (Minnelli)
Point Blank (Boorman)
Prince Of The City (Lumet)
Reflections In A Golden Eye (Huston)

I guess it's possible that some of these titles could be licensed to Criterion, for example 'Julia', 'Thieves Like Us' and 'Taking Off'.

Although it's starting to become painfully obvious to me that James Cameron is waiting until the tenth anniversary for this but...

I think this is still MGM, as it was on laserdisc.

(Although imagining a Criterion version of this makes me tingle with misplaced anticipation).

Also, of course...

The Sopranos Season Five
The Simpsons Seasons 6, 7, 8?
Seinfeld Seasons 4+

Isn't it funny how all the best TV shows begin with 'S'....?!

For the Titanic SE crowd, just in case you missed this Rumor Mill entry from the Digital Bits last month, here's what they had to say about it:

Haggai,
thanks for the heads up on Titanic. :emoji_thumbsup:

I only hope it's true this time.

Steve,
is the movie Voyager you mentioned the one with Sam Shepard and Julie Delpy? If it is I want that one too.
