XBOX2 GAMES WILL SUPPORT PROGRESSIVE SCAN 720p OR HD 1080i?

Hello, I'm italian gamer and dvd's fan , I would like to buy this tv crt JVC HV-32P37S or the new model (in a few weeks it will be the new model HV-32P40BU ) that support via component 480p and 1080i, the only one of its kind in Europe supports the 1080i high definition(there is in Europe only newchannel in high definiton "Euro1080"), BUT NOT 720p.I've already seen the xbox games in most cases support 480p, and in a few cases (dragon's leair, enter the matrix) the 720p and 1080i-p, I would like to know if the xbox2 games will be in 720p o 1080p? Now I modify the consolle for to have the possibility to play with the xbox pal with progressive scan , how do it the same with xbox2? What television do you raccomend for the purchase and use in the next future for the dvd, hddvd, blue-ray, etc.? ? I don't want to buy the plasma or lcd because are worse and very expensive. There's no tv CRT support 720p in Europe. I need of your big advice....

Thank you.

All you need to make sure of is that the TV can accept 720p and convert it to 1080i. In the US there are many 1080i CRT TVs that can accept 720p and convert it to 1080i. If you go to JVC's web page you should be able to download the user manual for that TV. Also check and see if the HV-32P40BU has either a HDMI or DVI-HDCP input. For several reasons having either an HDMI or DVI-HDCP input is recommended.

I don't' know because the new model HV-32P40BU isn't yet for sale in Europe. There isn't tv that support 720p signal but 1125i or 1080i as these jvc televisions.
