I just bought the Yamaha RX-V750 receiver to go with my Swan 2.1, C-3, R-3, and Sub 10. Does this receiver have the right specs to properly power these speakers? I heard talk that Swans require a "high current receiver," whatever that means.. Here are some of the Yamaha specs below. Is this a good fit with Swans?

Amplifier Output Details 100 Watt 8 Ohm 0. 06% 7 Surround Installed, 150 Watt 4 Ohm 0. 7% 7 Surround Installed

Input Sensitivity 200 mV

Input Impedance 47 KOhm

Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) 0.06%,0.7%

Amplifier Output Power / Channel 100 Watt,150 Watt

Amplifier Output Details:Output Impedance / Channel 8 Ohm,4 Ohm

I am thinking of purchasing an RX-V750 or RX-V1400. Did you get a good deal on your RX-V750?

I have the swans (4.1, C3, 2.1) and love them, but I would reccomend going a different direction for the subwoofer. Take a look at the ne SVS PB10 or the Adire Rava. The should offer alot more bang for the buck, including more output and frequency responce. You do have to give up on the matching asthetics however.
