Just bought a HK AVR630 from Onecall for $689. I don't think you can do better than that for a $1100 piece of equipment with that many features.

True that. Considering the H/K AVR-430 and 630 owners are *still* waiting on the DPL IIx upgrade.

HK AVR7000 (their flagship model a few years back w/ DD, DTS, Logic7 & more) on ebay Direct from Harman kardon(refurbed but w/full 2 -year warranty).

Most recent auction ended at $391.00

granted you are taking a chance as these receivers seem to have lots of bugs, but when they are working they sound awesome, and at least you won't have topay for any repairs the first 2 years.

BTW, as far as sonics go, virtually identical to newest flagships AVR7200 and AVR8000

PS- thats still a good (probably the best) price though that you got in terms of what everyone is selling a brand new 630 for.

I looked at the 7200 for that price but I got the 630 for $689 shipped. Shipping isn't cheap for the 7200! Plus I figured that the 7200 is old so that's why it's so cheap. The 630 isn't very old and I would like to get that upgrade (when it comes out). It's not just a DPL IIx upgrade either. And the 630 looks better!
