I have seen "MKII" used as part of the product name for several different subs (such as Earthquake subs) and was wondering what it stands for. Becasue I have seen it on different products from different manufactures it cant be a proprietary thing (like Lifesytle Posted Image ). Just curious.

Usually "Mark II". As in revised, second edition, 2.0.

I was wondering the same thing with regards to the Monster Power centers. Anyone know why those are MKII?

They redo aesthetics and design and other minor tweaks (I'm speaking about Monster here)...like has been mentioned, it's like version 2...a second version of virtually the same product...changes that usually don't warrant a completely new model name.
I gave up on tracking my collection and actually started watching what I have.
