Anyone know anything about this? Is this a temporary promo? or is it here to stay at no extra charge in certain packages?

I think it is here to stay. They are going to start selling Sirius radios in Dish Network retailers. They are also supposed to be working together to build a home receiver that will fit it a home theater setup better than what they have now. It is free to anyone with the Top 120 or above.

I'm enjoying it. Here in podunk, KS, the only radio stations we can get are either Top 40 crap, oldies, or country. Nice to be able to listen to some non nu-metal modern rock, as well as good 70s stuff. I think I'd get even more out of it if I had an optical output on my receiver. Curse me for being a cheapskate when we got this installed!
