Another great week!

I'll probably get the Cary Grant collection cause even though I only want 3 of the films (Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, Destination Tokyo and The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer) I think the box set will be cheaper.

Also getting Francis the Talking Mule (only really want the first movie, but here the set is the only option - and as cheap as a single dvd)

Plus Cocoon, Freaky Friday (77), Das Boot (uncut) and Candleshoe.

It's Dukes of Hazzard week!

As we all know, this was a live action primetime show that seemed more like an animated Saturday Morning TV show. (Except that it would have been impossible to animate Daisy Duke!)

In any event, the show was lot of fun; especially in its first two seasons!

This is the first time in 20 plus weeks that I haven't bought something :b But I have a feeling that I will get My Baby's Daddy from one of my relatives.

While I am not getting anything this week, it not because of any intresting is out (Pitch Black, Spiderman Deluxe, and Train Spotting), it just I am saving money for a tv. I am up to eighty now, and will have 120 dollars this week.

Will probably go for Spiderman at only $15.99 -- is the Deluxe Edition 3 discs? Also considering some Dukes of Hazzard action. Anyone know anything about the first season? Was it any good?

I'll be buying the NBA Dynasty Series: The Los Angeles Lakers complete History.

Anyone know what the difference with Das Boot is over the other two Director's Cut releases? I know it's 5 hrs vs 3.5 hrs, but what about the PQ? I got the superbit but never watched it (it's a lot of time and waiting for the wife's free time). I wasn't happy with the compression on the original version, and was hoping the superbit one fixed some of those issues.

Looking at another 1.5 hours.... is it worth it? Or should I stick with the 3.5hr superbit version?

If anyone is still looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer S6, I *think* Costco is still running their rebate:

"Buy BTVS:S6 and any other Buffy/Angel set on the same receipt and save $15."

BTVS:S6 was $36.99 at my Costco. Other sets are comparably priced, so it's a hell of a deal if any Costco members need to catch up.

They also had the Underworld: Special Edition with a $3 instant rebate ($21.99 - $3.00 = $18.99).

I think these are still good for another week or so.

Since, I'm so far behind, I'm holding off on Buffy season 6, and waiting until Angel season 4 shows up and hope Costco has the same "save $15" if you buy Angel season 4 with any other Angel/Buffy season set.
