Oh come on, you just want to be able to do a good zoom on Janet's boob.
Just kidding.
Actually I think it'd be a good idea, but even beyond that, I think it'd be a good idea to put all the SuperBowls on DVD, the full games as well as the half-times (and even the commercials, if they can). I mean, we should be able to just waltz over to our collection, pick out "Super Bowl V, 1971" and plop it in the player, and be carried back to January 17, 1971 - COMPLETELY - to see the Baltimore Colts whup the tar out of the Dallas Cowboys in Miami.
Or even do it without the commercials, that'd be fine too. But obviously the commercials are a big part of the whole SuperBowl experience.
Not interested in the halftime shows, but I'd love a copy of Whitney Houston's rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" from Super Bowl XXV, without having to buy a DVD full of her other music. =)
I'm not sure if I'd buy this, but I do remember that the halftime show featuring U2 (in 2002, I believe) was excellent.
NolanJ...while I may be wrong, I'm almost positive that Whitney Houston's performance of the Star Spangled Banner was completely lip-synched (then again, most of the performances of the song probably are for the Super Bowl).
