Sorry if this has been brought up before but I'm fairly new to the forum. This show is such a classic and is one of the rare shows on the website jumpedtheshark.com to have never jumped the shark (= gone downhill in quality). Any word on the possibility of getting this on DVD?

I can't believe the best shows like Odd Couple, Mary Tyler Moore, I Love Lucy, etc., have such a difficult time getting released!

I agree with you Richie, I too want the Odd Couple on DVD. I think it's by far, the best show produced by Garry Marshall, simply because, unlike the rest of his shows, the Odd Couple never jumped the shark. I wish that Paramount would release the complete show along with Get Smart and other classics from the Paramount library. How long must we wait? My old Columbia House Odd Couple VHS sets have gotten so worn out, that the picture now shows more dropouts than video!

As of the beginning of this year, there were no plans for this one. If anything's changed, I'm unaware of it.

THE ODD COUPLE might not have "jumped the ship", but it did do something i like to call "showcasing". This is when the show (comedy or drama) has a special guest (usually a singer) and that special guest will perform their special talent while the regular characters step aside, listens or watches in awe. Then after five minutes,it is over, everyone, including the studio audience will applaud, and then it's back to the story. Ive seen this in THE ODD COUPLE, THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, AND HAPPY DAYS.

But not in GET SMART! Release GET SMART!!

Commentary by Mel Brooks and/or Buck Henry?!? Would you believe Don Adams and Barbara Feldon? Would you believe Bernie Kopel and Dick Gautier?

There might not be any plans for it this year but wouldn't it be great if there were. I know my friends and I would all jump at the chance to buy complete season sets of The Odd Couple on DVD.

A classic show that should definitely be released! I would love to see some outtakes from this show too.

THE ODD COUPLE is at the top of my list of Most Wanted TV Series Sets. I'd buy each season in a heartbeat!

I have pre-order the Odd Couple the complete series as I am huge Jack Klugman fan. Oscar was perfect role for Jack Klugman!

I am also hoping Quincy will also be released as complete set. If there are two great roles for Jack Klugman then it was both Oscar and Quincy!
