Ben Casey, Dr. Kildare, Marcus Welby, Medical Center. All of the shows were hugely successful. Casey and Kildare ran 5 seasons each, Welby and MC ran for 8 each. Welby was the first show on ABC to finish #1 for the year.

There's only one doctor show I want - "St. Elsewhere", one of the finest dramas of any kind ever to grace the small screen.
