Star Trek Next Generation S4 blu-ray (looks fantastic)

The Virginian S4 DVD (haven't watched yet, but the 1st 3 seasons were very good)

Bonanza S5 DVD (haven't watched yet, and don't have the other seasons)

In the recent Network 40% sale I bought:

            Danger Man (1961/64)

            Ghost Squad

            Scotland Yard

            Man of the World

Currently working through Danger Man. Patrick McGoohan as James Bond would have blown the rest away.

Haven't gotten around to watching any of my new ``Star Trek: The Next Generation'' Blu-ray sets yet, but I did watch the ``Star Trek: Enterprise'' pilot on my new Blu-ray set and it looked fabulous!

I just got S1 of Enterprise and plan to watch some of it soon. Esp. looking forward to the documentary, which is supposed to be eye-opening in terms of the creation of the show.

The Next Generation blu-rays look amaaazing! You'll love the PQ. There are so many details in the costumes, make up, performances, sets, and FX that could barely be seen before that are now very clear. You can tell they were trying for production values that were close to sci fi movie of the day. They didn't always make it, but often they came surprisingly close.

The documentaries are also well done and fascinating. Patrick Stewart almost wasn't cast because he was older and bald, and yet ultimately his audition blew them away. At first, however, they wanted him to wear a hair piece! Thank goodness that idea didn't fly.

As you know, however, the first season has some read dud episodes. But even the first season has some good ones. My favorites are:

Where No One Has Gone Before

The Battle

The Big Goodbye

Datalore

11001001

Home Soil

Coming of Age

Heart of Glory

The Arsenal of Freedom

and Conspiracy

The guy I ordered my Dark Shadows Original Complete Series from on ebay won't send it.  funny, he had perfect feedback until just recently.  Not it's 60%.  Loads of complaints.  Lovely.  I'll probably be canceling today and try to find another.  So scratch mine post above for now.  :(

Hong Kong Phooey was a favorite of mine when it aired originally.  It's a pretty nice set.  I was surprised at the very simplistic backgrounds.  Of course, many Looney Tunes had that. Not to mention Flintstones...  etc...

Nice cousin!

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Ultra Q: The Complete Series, a b&w Japanese live-action sci-fi series from 1966. It's the precursor to Ultraman and was produced by Eiji Tsuburaya, the effects genius behind the Godzilla movies. It's 28 episodes, in Japanese with English subs., and released by Shout Factory and purchased on Amazon for $39.96. It tells separate stories of paranormal phenomena and giant monsters in each episode. I previously only had a Japanese-only DVD of vol. 1 (eps. 1-4) and liked what I saw enough to want the whole series.
