I'm trying to decide between Paradigm PS-1000 and Boston PV700. I like the paradigm's sound but I can get a good package deal on some Boston VR-M speakers including the PV700 (which I haven't heard yet). I know that my ears should decide but I'm interested in anyone's opinion who's compared the two (which, if either, did you choose?) and also from owners of either one regarding reliability and/or (if any) nagging issues. I'm looking for a sub to fill out the bottom end, not one that will knock me out of my chair and cause my house to collapse around me.
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes time, and it annoys the pig.
