Im looking for the cheapest stereo reciever i can find. Brand new. someone i know needs to hook a cd discman to it. They have the speakers already. I have a $100 100x2 sony reciever and its great for the price although there car audio is total junk. Im wondering if theres anything better or cheaper than that sony 100x2 for only $100

I bet KLH from Best Buy might be cheaper or some other product at Walmart.

Circuit City and others carry the Sherwood RX-4103/RX-4100. In my fully biased opinion it is a remarkable stereo receiver. It even has A/B speaker switching via the remote control. Pricing should be below $100.00. More details are available here: http://www.sherwoodu...rod_rx4100.html

I was looking at the Sherwood 4105, but I can't find any store that sell it. Has this model shipped?

How about a Magnetbox, Sorny or Panaphonics?

The RX-4105's are in stock. It might be kind of hard to find one as the high volume guys are still selling the RX-4100 and RX-4103. Drop me a note (jeff@sherwoodamerica.com) and I'll try to track down a dealer for you.
