Has anyone else encountered problems playing Disc 2 (or any of the later discs I haven't watched yet)? I know of at least 2 other people who experienced the same problem that I have. That is, during the episode "Fredless" the picture freezes at 22m 15s, but the counter continues to run. The same thing happened in "Billy." There are no visible markings (holes, scratches, etc.) Is this an isolated problem or a factory defect? Should I return the set through Amazon.com or seek Fox's aid?

Thanks for the help,
Kyle

What player are you using?

I had no problems with two different Toshiba SD5700s.

I just watched this set last week on my Sony and had no problems at all. Sounds like you have a bad disc.

I'm about halfway through the set. I don't remember the episodes this happens in, and I don't know if this is what you're talking about or not. But I do know that a couple of times, there have been stop motion action in fight scenes. It's intended, not a defect. Is that possibly what you're seeing?

thanks Matt & Michael. i'll be returning the set to amazon this week.
no Scott, it wasn't the fights (though, they were very cool). it stopped while Fred was sitting at the bus station and then later while Cordy was talking to Billy at the airport. thanks for the help though.

I had a problem in one of the episodes, I forget which one it was. It was when Gunn bought a stroller for Connor, and Angel and Co were walking towards the camera, out of the hospital. It froze, and then skipped really choppy. It did this when I rewound it once, and then after that, it didn't do it again. Other than that I've had no other problems.

I've noticed a few audio problems with the discs starting with "Billy". A harshness at the ends of words and some noises. I'm playing these on a Panny RP91.

No problems with any other DVD's or music so it's not my system.
