Anyone know Columbia's track record on replacing music for TV shows (if they have a track record)? I have never purchased a set w/ replaced music, so I'm wondering how much music is generally "replaced." There are some episodes from Season 3 of this series which featured songs which I think I NEED to enjoy the set....without them, I don't think I'd buy Season 3. And without Season 3, I don't want Season 1. Which of course makes my decision of whether or not to buy Season 1 pretty much a crapshoot, I guess...

They kept the music for Dawson's Creek, season 1, but changed season 2 (due to the set not selling in their expected range.

I'd assume they'll try to get the music for season 1 intact, and unless that sells really well, they'll maybe replace further seasons.

I don't remember what season it was in, but I wonder if they will have any problems with the episode R.E.M. was in.

Overall though i'm not too concerned about the music, if they replace it or not it won't affect my perception and enjoyment of the story. That being said I can understand how others may feel the music was a more important part of the show.

Assume that all the music is changed and then if there's any left it will be a pleasant surprise.

They told me that the music costs were going to be astronomical for Po5, so I'll bet most of it is gone.
