I have the opportunity to buy the DVD A Boy Named Charlie Brown. It was an ebay auction that I didn't win, but received an email regarding the winner backing down, giving me the opportunity to buy it now with the high bid I entered.

I wasn't aware this was on DVD, though. The seller said it is of "High Quality" and "Purchased at a collectors show."

The seller has sold other rare DVD items, often rating their quality, and has a superb feedback rating. Do you people think it's a burned disc (I think it may be)? Should I go ahead an purchase it?

Mr. JBL has made my first home theater possible.

This title has been requested many times by folks here at HTF. To the best of my knowledge, it's never been released on DVD - certainly not in R1, at any rate.

I'm guessing it's a boot. My advice - avoid.

Three truths about movies, as noted by Roger Ebert:

* It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.

* No good movie is too long, and no bad movie is short enough.

* No good movie is depressing, all bad movies are depressing.
