On the east coast, it's now 2004!

So, countless of us will make new year's resolutions, so what are they and are they really achievable?

Mine is to get under 200 pounds (about 10-15 pounds away give or take a good meal or two) and keep it off and ring in 2005 under 200 pounds as well.

(And, please, no threadcraps. If you don't believe in them, fine, keep it to yourself).

1 hour and 17 minutes to go. . .

My resolution is to keep losing weight and get better control over my blood glucose/insulin levels. I actually started this one 6 months ago but more or less fell off the wagon around Thanksgiving. Now that the holidays have passed, may the new year allow me to continue my path to improved health, not only for this coming year but for my lifetime as well.

To meet more (single) women! Posted Image

And damn, I almost pulled it off tonight, but, with my crazy luck none of my single male friends were around tonight so the 4 single girls (whom I never met but were friends of a friend) bailed. Goshdarnit.

*hums to the tune of "If I had a Million Dollars"*

Oh well!

Hey wait...maybe I should meet more single men instead - or is that a bad idea? Posted Image
Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him...a super-callused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

Gamesh....

Max- You could have invited them over for a great session of group sex! Posted Image

Anyway, my goals for the New Year include:

1. To finally hit my goal of 168 lbs. at 10% bodyfat. This shouldn't be too bad since the holidays have ended. I'll be able to stay more strict and consistent with my nutrition and exercise.

2. To finally get myself a girlfriend.

3. To make $100,000.00.

And that's it for the year. Posted Image

I think we'll find a lot of people will have similar resolutions.

1) End my long streak of being single
2) Continue my my current gym routine to stay in shape
3) Win the $15Million Lotto Super7 jackpot this Friday Posted Image

Boy this could be a long list... but for starters:

1) Be happy being single ....again.
2) Continue as always making an effort to be fair to others in work and play.
3) Make better decisions with more confidence at work and play.

Well, considering I managed to drop around 20-25 pounds from last year, I think my goal is reachable if I just pay attention to what I eat and drink and don't slide back into my previous bad eating habits.

Get in shape!

I was doing pretty well shedding pounds prior to the new year.. but.. the holiday season just killed me. I wish they'd hurry up and build that YMCA behind my house so I have one less excuse.

I think 2 and three have an XOR relationship. You can pick one or the other, but not both. Posted Image
