should the srs surround at dvd player to be on or off...if the srs mode is off, does it effect the surround that come out through the receiver..Posted Image

SRS only applies to stereo sources. It is a matrix surround designed to give an expanded soundstage using two speakers. It should be off when using Dolby Surround on your receiver.

I thought SRS sounded somewhat "blah" in terms of making a wider surround stage.
