I should add that I would like to see what are currently Columbia House by-subscription DVD titles released to the general market, particularly "The Wild, Wild West." Columbia House also offers "Land of the Giants," which AlanBrom listed, however, I must say that after buying the first disc, I now find the show unwatchable. I have the feeling that any Irwin Allen show, including "The Time Tunnel" as well as the upcoming "Lost in Space" DVD set, is going to be equally disappointing in this regard. These shows were entertaining when we were kids, but they just don't hold up all these years later, IMHO.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned one of the all-time classics of television:

The Adventures of Superman

If they do a Best of Late Night with David Letterman collection, there are two moments I would love to see on there, his interview with Christopher Reeve from 1998 upon the release of Chris' autobiography Still Me, and, in its entirety, the first Late Night program to air after the 9-11 attacks. Letterman's interview with Chris was very restrained and honest, and Letterman's honesty about the 9-11 attacks were very poignant, angry, sympathetic, everything everyone in America was feeling, even in his conversation with Dan Rather. Both of these, especially the first post-9/11 program, should be released on DVD.

Let's go for some old stuff:

Amos 'n Andy
Dobie Gillis

The first has some (unjustified, in my view) perception problems; I doubt that there would be enough buyers for the second.
