Kinda funny, brief synopsis:

Dr. Kovach is going back to Africa and selling off his stuff and specifically Bose was mentioned as one of the items he was dumping.(No other name brand was thrown out there)

anything to do with bose marketing? or just a fluke?

What happens when you strap a buttered piece of bread to a cat's back?????

Sometimes companies has contracts with marketing companies that get thier product name in tv shows and movies. When I worked for a soft drink company there was a company that did this for us in exchange for outdated soda they would give to charities.

Bose does this a lot. On the latest "24" episode the main characters were on a helicopter and they both had bose headphones on. There were many blatant close up shots of headphones with the word bose very plain to see.

I loved how they used to have the electrostatics in Friends (looked like Mirage or Martin Logans), but no other obvious equipment...and they never listened to them. Also, in the earlier seasons, there was a B&O shelf system.
