Transformers: season vs single discs (1 Viewer)

With Deep Discount DVD havign their big sale, I was considering buying Transformers season 1. I noticed it's about 10% cheaper to buy the three individual volumes instead of the complete first season set. Woudl I miss out on any special features this way?

Since I only have the season sets, I'm guessing that the individual releases won't have the postcard sized animation cells included in the box sets. Plus, I really like the case that the season sets come in.

I don't really care about the package or the pack-ins, more worried about stuff on the discs.

The season one boxset contains a bonus 4th disc of extras.

You're really not missing anything exciting if you don't get the extras disc. But you can read the list and decide for yourself.

The season 1 set has A LOT of problems, which I have listed there as well.

The bonus discs on these sets actually have some good stuff on them. S2.2 has some interviews with writers, and s3.1 has some Transformers Public Service Announcements.
